Project Description
We have helped the Baka with seeds for groundnuts, maize, other produce and tree propagation
We also are working with other NGOs working in the area teaching good agricultural practice so that the forest doesn’t get degraded as people are less able to move to other areas.
There is a growing market for seedling forest trees for replanting programmes. In January 3013 we started a programme teaching tree nursery skills – collecting and looking after seeds and seedlings. We were helped by Aime and Jeannot of EFR, Yenga.
